Cottonwood Country Snowmobiles Equipment
Snowmobiles - At cottonwood Country we have two types of snowmobiles.
Our first snowmobile pictured here is great for families and first timers for a nice smooth scenic trip in Colorado's Backcountry. This snowmobile can be ridden as single or a double, riders on the back have a back rest comfortable seat and a spot to rest their feet. The speed on the touring snowmobiles is 0-45mph.
The second type of snowmobile show here is our performance machine. The performance machines have more power and a longer track with 2-1/2 in paddles. These snowmobiles offer a more aggressive ride. It's best if you have prior experience, and enjoy outdoor sports. The full day trip on a performance machine has been rated as one of the coolest trips that Colorado has to offer.
What to Wear - Personal Gear
We will be in a winter environment throughout your tour. The temperatures will be cold (-15 to 45) and you need to have adequate gear to keep you warm. You can dress in your ski or snowboard clothes. We also have gear available that you can pick up at the office on the date of your trip.
Helmets and visors are included in the price and we have all of the winter clothing available in various sizes at our office in Buena Vista Colorado.
Our season starts as early as snow will permit in November and will end on April 21st.
Snowmobiling is a high risk adventure sport, you will assume all risk while you are involved, you are also responsible for the snowmobile. All damages are the responsibility of the guest, Cottonwood Country does have insurance available with a 250.00 deductable.
