Performance Powder Tours
If you are an experienced rider and are looking for a personal powder guide on a joyride on some of Colorado’s best trails and mountains, come and join us on a performance tour. These tours are designed for the rider looking for something more than the ordinary tour. All performance tours are conducted on M-7 and M-8 Arctic Cat snowmobiles which have a longer track, longer paddles, and more power to help you get through the deep snow.
Along with getting a great snowmobile, our terrain is the best in Colorado. Cottonwood Country has the ability to ride in two different national forests, the San Isabel and Gunnison National Forests. Both forests are located along the continental divide and have a variety of riding for the most seasoned snowmobile veteran. After snowmobiling on Cottonwood pass in the morning, you will drop over the top of the pass (12412ft) and ride down into the Gunnison National Forest near Taylor Reservoir.
Full day trips last about 7 hours and ride 70-100miles, half day trips last 3 hours and typically ride 30-50 miles. Please look over the information below and pick the trip that’s best for you and your group.
Full Day Performance Tour
Our full day performance tour is the best in Colorado! A great sled with a great area combined with guide that knows all of the best powderfeilds and riding areas. After riding cottonwood pass and the san Isabel forest, you will drop over the top of the continental divide and ride down into the Gunnison national forest and enjoy hundreds and hundreds of acres of riding area dubbed by snow west as one of the best riding areas in Colorado. After taking a quick break for our hot chili lunch, you will jump back the snowmobile and will enjoy an afternoon of riding more powder! The full day tour will cover 60-100 miles depending on weather conditions and riding ability.

Half Day Performance Tour
Our performance half day is all of the excitement that you can pack in to three hours. After a quick orientation of the snowmobile your guide will show you the best that cottonwood pass has to offer. Cottonwood pass is notorious for its scenery and it’s world class snowmobiling. Powder fields, single track trails, and boondocking will fill your three hour tour along with a climb to the top of the continental divide. This tour is perfect for you if you have ridden before or have your own snowmobile.

Snowmobiling is a high risk adventure sport, you will assume all risk while you are involved, you are also responsible for the snowmobile. All damages are the responsibility of the guest, Cottonwood Country does have insurance available with a 250.00 deductable.
