Your Personal Gear

While riding you will be in a winter environment throughout your tour. The temperatures will be cold (-15 to 45) and you need to have adequate gear to keep you warm. You can dress in your ski or snowboard clothes. We also have gear available that you can pick up at the office on the date of your trip.

Below are pictures that show what our gear looks like. This gear is available to rent for 5.00 per item or 12.00 for the full package which includes all the winter clothing you may need and your helmet and visor.

It's also important to wear a warm under layer to insure you stay warm. Fleece underlayers are recommended and are available at the office.

Helmets and visors come in various sizes all the way from XXS upto XXXL. We do allow you to use your own helmet as long as it's CDOT (Colorado Department of Transportation) approved, you will need to show your helmet when you check in.

Helmets and visors are included in the price and we have all of the winter clothing available in various sizes at our office in Buena Vista Colorado.



Snowmobiling is a high risk adventure sport, you will assume all risk while you are involved, you are also responsible for the snowmobile. All damages are the responsibility of the guest, Cottonwood Country does have insurance available with a 250.00 deductable.
